At Profit Partners, we're seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Business Control Unit (BCU) within the Institutional Equity Division (IED). As a global leader in equity trading, we're committed to providing exceptional services to our clients.

As a BCU Associate, you'll:

• Manage trading risks for our EMEA IED business, focusing on derivatives.

• Collaborate with global teams to launch new business initiatives.

• Review equity transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Work closely with desk heads and trading teams to maintain effective governance.

• Coordinate governance, control, and approval forums.

• Provide expert advice on non-market risks.

• Identify and mitigate potential risk issues through in-depth reviews.

• Develop and implement innovative control solutions.

• Partner with Operations, Technology, Legal, and Compliance teams.

• Leverage AI/ML techniques to enhance our control frameworks.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.

• A solid understanding of equities, with knowledge of equity derivatives being a plus.

• Experience in coordinating across the firm to strengthen control frameworks.

• Proficiency in Python and a systems-based approach to problem-solving.
